CityNet has issued its final call for nominations / applications for its new office bearers. The final deadline is on July 10, 2017.

The final extension was made after receiving several requests, Election Committee Chairperson and Barisal City Mayor Ahsan Habib Kamal said in his June 19 letter of notice to CityNet members.

He also urged members to apply and get the benefits of an ExCom member,
‘Being a CityNet Executive Committee member gives your city/ organization leverage in our policy-decision making process and access to important local government activities in the Asia Pacific region.’

On November 6, 2017 at the General Council Meeting in Colombo, Sri Lanka, CityNet will elect its new set of officers –President, a first and a second Vice President, nine (9) Members of the Executive Committee and an Auditor. The General Council will also elect its Secretary General and Election Committee members.
