On July 13, CityNet Secratariat CEO Mr. Jeong-kee Kim recently visited the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Korea to meet with the Chinese Ambassador to Korea, Mr. Xing Haiming. This visit aimed to foster discussions regarding potential partnerships and collaborations in China.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for CityNet to express its keen interest in establishing fruitful partnerships with Chinese members. Mr. Kim conveyed the organization’s willingness to participate in outreach visits to Chinese cities, underscoring the importance of collaborative efforts in achieving sustainable urban development.
During the meeting, the CityNet Secretariat also highlighted its expertise and experience in connecting cities for knowledge exchange and capacity-building projects across the Asia-Pacific region. The organization emphasized its dedication to supporting member cities in addressing urban challenges.
The productive meeting resulted in positive feedback from the Chinese Ambassador to Korea, who expressed appreciation for CityNet’s visit.
