Seoul National University Global R&DB Center (SNU GRC) is calling for participants for two groundbreaking educational programs on smart city topics. The deadlines are fast approaching, so please see below for more details about these sponsored learning opportunities.

1) SNU Global Digital R&DB Program

Seoul National University(SNU) and KAIST are pleased to announce the jointly organized 2024 Online/Offline Global Digital R&DB Program.

This Program, funded by the Ministry of Science and ICT of Republic of Korea(MSIT), aims to equip professionals and leaders with the skills and insights necessary to thrive in a world increasingly driven by digital technologies.

The 2024 Online/Offline Global Digital R&DB Program focuses on critical areas of digital innovation and the application of technologies with a particular focus on artificial intelligence across diverse industries. Key areas of focus include digital economy, digital transformation, smart city, digital inclusion, data landscape, public sector, smart education, smart factory, international development, accounting, regulation, and smart industry.

By integrating academic rigor with practical applications, the program offers non-degree courses that cater to a range of professional needs and aspirations. Participants will gain invaluable knowledge and skills to lead and innovate in their respective fields.

The Global Digital R&DB Program is comprised of both online and offline education components:

• Online Education Program: Participants will engage with 12 pre-recorded lecture modules that cover a wide range of topics crucial for understanding and implementing digital convergence technologies. Each lecture is designed to be self-contained, providing comprehensive insights into each topic with practical examples and case studies. Participants will also have access to Q&A sessions, case analyses, and interactive learning activities.

• Offline Education Program: Upon completion of the online modules, top-performing participants will be invited to participate in an exclusive offline segment held in South Korea. This segment includes immersive industry visits to leading companies, cultural experiences to understand Korea’s innovative landscape, and intensive workshops aimed at further solidifying participants’ understanding and application of digital technologies.
